The Spring 2024 season typically runs from April through June. Specific dates will be determined as we get closer to the season. We'll have the following divisions: Playground, Schoolyard, 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and a 14-16U Clinic***.
**** If there is enough interest, we typically hold a 14-16U Coed clinic. This coed division is comprised of 2-weekly practices (Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings) that include skills and drills, small-sided games, and scrimmages. Clinic players will not receive a uniform. ***
We'll purchase full uniforms for all players, which includes a jersey, shorts, and socks. (14-16U Clinic players will not receive a uniform).
Players are responsible for:
- comfortable sneakers or soccer cleats (soccer cleats are not required but recommended for upper divisions)
- shin guards (required)
- water bottles
- soccer balls (Playground to 8U: Size 3; 10U/12U: Size 4; 14U or higher: Size 5)
Shin guards must be worn at all practices and games and MUST be covered by socks. Jewelry of any kind (including earrings) are not permitted to be worn during practices or games. Do not have your child's ear pierced before the beginning of the season. If they cannot take the earrings out, they cannot play. This is an AYSO rule and we are not permitted to allow jewelry. Putting tape or band aids over the ear to cover the earring is not permitted.
We plan to play other regions for the 10U and 12U Divisions -- this means some travel is required on game days for these upper divisions.
The Spring 2024 (MY2023) Registration Fees are as follows:
- Early Bird Registration - $65
- Regular Registration - $85
- Late Fee Registration - $95 - depending on roster sizes, players will be placed on teams but that is not guaranteed
If you're registering for the first time in the current Membership Year (MY2023), your registration includes a one-time, non-refundable $20 AYSO National Membership Fee. This membership fee has always been included in your registration cost, but is transparent to you. MY2023 runs from August 1, 2023 to July 31, 2024. The National Membership Fee is only charged once per MY. For example, if your child plays in the Fall, you not be charged this fee again in the Spring. If your child registers for the first time in the Spring, you will be charged this fee.
We do provide a $10 discount for the 3rd, 4th, etc. players per family -- this discount is applied automatically during checkout.
Registration fees can only be paid via credit or debit card online.
Player Divisions
We'll have the following player divisions:
Your child's division is automatically assigned during registration. The effective date of age determination for registration shall be the player’s age as of December 31 looking ahead of the Membership Year. Example: For MY2023, the division selected for the child is determined based on their age on December 31, 2024. Follow this age chart for more information.
Practices & Games
All games are played on Sundays. Practices for 8U and up begin 1-2 weeks before the start of the season. Playground, Schoolyard, and 6U do not have weekday practices. 8U practices one day a week and 10U and 12U generally practice two times a week. The days and times of practices are decided by the coaches. We hold our Coaches Meeting about 2 weeks before the start of the season, so you can expect to hear from your child’s coach around then.
Volunteer Background Checks
Note that AYSO is now conducting level 2 background checks for all volunteers which costs $25 per volunteer. Your region has decided to pay that cost for the volunteers this season; we'll absorb that cost into our budget.
